Viet Anh Dominique Naumann
Viet Anh Dominique Naumann is a product design engineer and automotive designer whose practice spans furniture, consumer electronics, concept vehicles, and industrial design. Working across Fuji Heavy Industries and his own studio, Naumann has shaped production vehicles, including the third-generation Subaru BRZ, alongside speculative prototypes for eVTOL aircraft and modular automotive interiors. His work blends rigorous engineering with a designer’s intuition for form, moving fluently between origami-inspired umbrella concepts for Issey Miyake and zero-drag mirror studies for FHI research. “Sometimes I do prefer form over function,” he writes, a statement borne out in work that treats both as inseparable.
